about me
I studied Communication Design at the University of North Texas, focusing on UX/UI with a minor in Art History.
I started out in architecture, dreaming of designing theme parks, before I realized what I loved most was designing experiences for people. Today I work in Human Factors Engineering at Apple, and I’m interested in UX/UI roles.
Long before any of that, I was taking commissions as a young graphic designer, making flyers, logos, and T‑shirts.
My first job was at a summer camp, and it taught me something important: I didn’t love teaching, but I loved creating. So at the Lewisville Public Library, where I worked as a children’s librarian, I leaned into making things happen, helping put together events like a petting zoo, coding lessons for kids, and a FaceTime call with an astronaut.
I’ve also always loved animals. As a kid, I was a junior zookeeper at Sunset Zoo in Manhattan, Kansas, and later a volunteer at Pet World. Today I have a cat named Cleo and a turtle named Chandler.
Some people cover their water bottles and MacBooks in stickers.
Mine would look like this.
