Dear Hiring Team,
My path to design started with art. I’ve always drawn, painted, and made things. Then I got my first iPhone, and design turned into something I could touch and move. I realized art could also be useful: something people hold, tap, and depend on. That’s the work I want to do, interfaces that look good and are easy for real people to use.
Today I work in Human Factors Engineering at Apple, where I set up the devices, protocols, and tools behind user studies. Before that, more than two years in Apple Support showed me how people actually use technology, from first-time users to power users with complicated setups, and exactly where design helps them or gets in their way. Those calls taught me to design for the person who’s stuck, not the one who already knows the way.
At Doctor Notes, I brought three stakeholders’ different ideas for sharing into one simple flow that shipped as-is in the app’s 2.0 update. At Daily Living Labs, I designed and 3D-printed a stabilizing bed tray, then changed it three times based on what seven wheelchair users told me.
I’d love to bring that same care to your team. Thank you for considering my application.
Best regards,
